Guilin, is said to be a vast expanse of sea in remote antiquity, it rose to be an oasis due to crustal movements. Today, we depart to Guilin to see the real mountains and water...
From the airport, is about 1 hour journey to the city...i have been almost 2 years never been to China..I feel warm and comfortable. The city was crowded and buzzz....still the same, cycling still very popular in China: Guilin.
We visit to The Elephant Hill. This hill also called Li Hill and Chengsui Hill. Resembling an elephant drinking water from the river, it is also called Elephant Trunk Hill...is a nice Hill

01 June 2009 - Guilin~Longsheng~Guilin

A cloudy morning, Depart from Guilin to Lonsheng Terranced Field Scenic Area. When arrived we need approx: 2hours walked to Lonji Terrances Scenic Area. From Golden pit Big Village to small village, the road was rough. Lucky the local guide guided the road. The scene of the terraces field is varied. We have up to Yao Hill and we can see the One of the Hill called " seven stars with moon" The weather in Yao Hill is reletively cold, the terrace seedling transplant in spring. Is often done in end of May and beginning in June. The rice is ripe in 90 days.The Zhuang village home foods very nice, it good to try as well. The famous food is bamboo sticky rice! Later we transfer back to Guilin for our dinner.

02 June 2009 - Guilin~Yangshou
This morning, heading to Yangshou about (2 hours) before reach to Yangshou Ancient Town, drop-off at Shangri-La Yangshou. This is the fairland in my dream: this is just the land of peach Blossoms whih you have expected for a long time.....This cultural village, you may see many of cultural living in together. After dinner, we went to watched the Impression Sanjie Liu. This must watch! The large-scale performance, Impression Sanjie Liu is the amazing show of the Li River Mountain-Water Theatre, it's combine the classical Sanjie Liu's Songs, ethnic groups culture and the fishing lights together, to reflect the harmonious atmosphere between human beings and the nature. More than 600 performers, 12 famous peaks as stage background! Director by Zhang Yi mou. Many songs sang by Famous artists. It was great to watch! only cost RMB200 p.pax
Later we walked n shop at West Street at Yangshou Town. Found alot of culture gift and souvenirs.

03 June 2009 - Yangshou~Hezhou
Before heading to Hezhou, we take an hour cruise along the Li river. The early morning..it was chill and cooling weather..it nice to take the cruise and see the mountains and water. Our Cruise landed at Yanshou village. It about 200 years history. And until today, the houses still keep very nice.
Hezhou is located at the convergent area jointing up Guangxi, Hunan and Guangdong provinces with its most stunning natural scenery in suburbs and countryside. We need apprx 3hours to reached there. Visit a famous of Gopushan and National Forest Park: We have a chance to see and learn tea msking "Fang Family Tea Farm" ,"Fairylady Waterfall" "Country Spirit and Plain Love", the setting of the famous Hong Kong TVB series

04 June 2009 - Hezhou~Lipu
After breakfast we heading towards to Lipu. It just about 1hour. Lipu, we visit to Silver Cave. This cave situated in Maling Town, Guilin. Silver Cave a Karst formation cave consisting of three divisions, the upper cave, the grand hall and the ground cave. It's a spectacular, mysterious and exquisite Cave. We spend almost 2 hours inside the cave. You may try the Yam Cake cook with Honey..it is a famous food in Lipu. We spend 1 night in Lipu..but not encourage to stay at Lipu. coz not much Hotel and resort there.

The scenery beside the Waving Stone Village on the Middle of Li River is so wonderful that no matter what is the view area.

05 June 2009 - Lipu~Guilin
This morning, back to Guilin and stay one night at Merry-Land Theme Park resort. It is a 5star resort but however it only China 5 star Resort. We can relax and enjoy the amusement park in Merry-land.

I heard ppls talking about blog blog?? so hehe ikut lo....., No la i just want to share my travel life with all of you.
I suka pergi makan makan, jalan - jalan, I did enjoyed my life to travel, to see around the world, to see peoples, foods, wine, cultures and some interesting things.

Day 01

Ok, today let start my 1st journey in Asia. Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City)
Previously name Saigon but later they have changed to 'Ho Chi Minh City'
On arrival, heard alot of Honking around, the rumble of a million motobikes, the cries of hawkers and the buzz of business transactions are as ever-present as the tickle of the streets and city. It was so crowded that i ever seen.
Our hotel was in District 1, Thom Thock, clean and fine, only USD25 per room/nite. After checking-in, Me and Shanice go and check with some travel agency for our sightseeing tomorrow. It was impress that, they have alot of travel agencies at the District 1. So at the end, we managed to booked the Chu Chi Tunnel tour and city tour from SINH CAFE agency. It just cost us USD20 inclusive the entrance of Chu Chi Tunnel. Then we took our vegetarian dinner at vietnamese restaurant.

Day 02 - 8.15 am

2 hours journey to Chu Chi tunnel. Half of the way, we have stopped by A.M Lacquerwares Manufacturer Factory. Later proceed to Chu Chi Tunnel. Visit a network of more than 250km long underground dug-out which being used during VN-USA war. The network, parts of which was several storeys deep, included innumerable traps doors, constructed living area, storage facilities, weapons factories, field, hospitals, command centres & kitchens. We dig deeper and see what is went on...
After Chu Chi, we proceed for our city tour but we have to change the bus at the Sinh Cafe terminal. We visit to Notre Damn Cathedral, War Remnants Museum, General post office. In HCH no need to worry, coz many restaurants, agencies and cafes coz many KUI LO.

He he must just like me small size can go deeper ooo...

Day 03 8.00 am HCH - Mui Ne

My first time heard Vietnam got Sanddunes?? so must go and see... this morning, we are so exciting, we took the Dbl Decker Public Bus to Mui Ne. Can you believe it? Vietnam got Sanddunes? 6 hours journey from HCH city. So we have decided stay 1 night at Canary Beach Resort. It just USD59 per pax inclusive transport, accommodation and sightseeing. Tak mahal juga ahh.. when we arrival, lucky we meet some vietnamese friends can tumpang us to the Hotel, coz the driver just stop us at the station. After checking-in, got a young man - our driver guide pick up us by Jeep to Fairy Stream (Suoi Tien). We need to walk along the river to see the Stream.Beware! too many kids follow and guide you at the end asking the money.....
Later proceed to Red Canyon.. haha what a suprise, just a small little Canyon. Then we need to take about 30 minutes to White Sanddunes (Doi Cat Trang)... It was so beautiful.

Day 04 0900am Mui Ne - HCH

This morning, we continue to Yellow Sanddunes (Doi Cat Vang), Fishing Village (Lang Chai) and Mui Ne market. You can purchase the vietnamese coffee maker with USD1.5 only! cheap! After the sightseeing, we check out and transfer to Bus station and took the bus back to CHC. Around 6pm we arrived in the city. For vegetarian, no need to be worry, coz HCH got alot of VeGe restaurants. And Vietnamese spring roll is nice and good taste! Tonight was Beijing Olympic Opening Ceremony, so we tak boleh tahan nak tengok, so we just "Ta Pao" to our room and watching the ceremony....

Day 05 HCH - KUL

After breakfast, we went to Minh Thong Market for shopping. After shopping we check out and transfer to airport by Taxi. only USD7 per cab..
We miss Vietnam. Good for travel, peoples nice and warm, foods - no worry.. shop - no worry... im happy..
